And so it begins...

To all out there in Orble Land,
I am creating this blog to offer oppions and insight disucussion about the art of film. As I see it; every film contributes to the delicate fabric of the art of film as a whole. I am not one to rip appart a film with negative opinion, rather I tend to look at it in a slightly different light.
I beleive that every film, if it has made through the inspiration of the writer to write, to the vision of the producer to produce, to the creation of the director and to us- the audience, then somewhere in there is some merit, some worth.
I am not claiming to love every film and I would be avoiding the truth if I didn't admit that at times I wonder how certain films made it all the way through those stages. I do sometimes wonder; that all that money was spent on what?
However I try to maintain that a film has a purpose and that that purpose will not apply to everyone.
So with these things in mind, my reviews will try to locate that puropse. Locate where I think the film fits, to what audience.
Of course there must be, as with all reviews, a rating. I will rate these films I watch and the rating will based on where I think this film fits in relation to all films, of its sort and of other genres.
I will however, with the points noted above, endeavour to include notes that may allow an alternate perspective.
Because after all- Bartes was onto something when he proclaimed "The Death of the Author!," and pointed out that meaning is created with in the audience.
Happy Watching Crew,
I'm a good judge of a good film so remeber to check in
